How Do I Prepare For An Inflatable? - 7 Easy Steps
1. The Inflatable's range in size. Please provide an area at least 6' wider
than the unit with at least 18' (30' for slide) of clearance from tree branches
and other obstructions. This will create an open space around the unit for
safety and to protect our equipment. We will not set up Inflatable's under or
near any electrical or telephone wires. The Inflatable(s) cannot be
placed near a swimming pool.
2. Make sure there are no underground sprinkler pipes and/or buried telephone
cables or electric lines close to the perimeter of the bounce site. We will use
24" stakes to secure the Inflatable(s).
3. Clear the site of all sharp sticks, animal waste, large rocks and other large
debris. If animal waste must be removed, please cover the spot to protect our
equipment from residue. On hard surfaces like driveways or parking lots, please
sweep the area clean.
4. The Inflatable(s) site should be relatively level. We will not set up on a
hill.
5. A standard 110 volt outlet within 80 feet is required for operation. (2
circuits for slide and obstacle course) It is best that the outlet not be shared with other large
equipment. If power is not located within 80 feet a generator may be rented at
an additional charge from Majic Midways.
6. The person whose name is on the contract must be present at the time of
delivery. Make sure a clear path of at least 3 feet wide is available for
delivery of the Inflatable(s). If curbs, steps or stairs are present, we will
require the renter's assistance for delivery.
7. Dogs (animals) must be tied/caged before and during event. Turn off automatic
sprinklers. Do not water grass or cut the grass the day or night before.
***Majic Midways reserves the right to refuse a rental if we deem the area to be
unsafe or likely to damage our Inflatable(s).
Can You Set Up Inside?
Yes. Majic Midways can set-up inside. A gym or community centre is a great place
to set-up an inflatable, especially during winter months or if rain is likely.
The ceiling height must be at least 18' for bounces and obstacle course, and 30'
for super slide
How Much Do You Charge For Set-up?
Majic Midways does not charge for set-up of Inflatable(s) or dunk tanks. We
include set-up and removal in our prices.
What Type Of Surface Can An Inflatable Be Placed On?
Grass, cement, asphalt or hard dirt (packed). We will not set-up on sand, gravel
or loose dirt.
**A hard surface charge of $50.00 will apply to Inflatable(s) to be set up on cement
or asphalt, and a $100.00 charge will apply to Slide or Obstacle course set-up on hard surfaces.
How Long Does It Take To Set Up A Bounce?
Bounce Set-up
is about 15 to 20 minutes depending on location. It takes about the same to remove.
How Long Does It Take To Set Up A Slide or Obstacle Course?
30 minutes depending on location. It takes about the same to remove. Please
be advised we must be able to drive our truck in to the exact location where the
slide will be set-up. The slide travels on a trailer.
